Clinical Care Coordinator ENT Specialist

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to provide clinical support to our physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. As a Clinical Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective patient services, contributing to the overall positive patient experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses.
- Patient Assessments: Assist with patient assessments, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Medications and Treatments: Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as directed by the physician.
- Routine Lab Tests: Perform routine lab tests, collect specimens, and prepare samples for analysis.
- Diagnostic Tests: Assist with diagnostic tests, treatments, and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and care plans.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
- Examination Rooms: Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Patient Flow: Manage patient flow, scheduling, and follow-up appointments to support efficient clinic operations.
- Communication: Respond to patient inquiries, phone calls, and triage calls, providing appropriate guidance and information.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Graduate of an accredited LPN program and active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
- Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, preferably in ENT or Allergy.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
