Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at DaVita. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. Your role will involve building meaningful relationships with patients and their families, working collaboratively with a positive team environment, and utilizing your nursing skills and knowledge to develop unique treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate and empathetic care to patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor and manage patient progress, making adjustments as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for a nursing degree
  • A valid RN license in the state where the position will be located
  • Previous experience in nephrology, critical care, or medical-surgical nursing is preferred but not required
