Diesel Truck Mechanic

About the Role:

Skyworks LLC, a family-owned construction equipment rental company, is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team at our Horseheads branch.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a positive culture that values exceptional customer experiences. As a Diesel Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers, conducting regular preventative maintenance, and ensuring all vehicles are DOT compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical malfunctions
• Inspecting fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborating with other technicians to achieve team goals

Requirements:

• Experience with engine diagnostics tools and software
• Technical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
