Job Title: Senior Director of Product Management for Advanced Memory Solutions

Western Digital is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Product Management for Advanced Memory Solutions to lead the strategic direction, development, and management of our advanced memory products portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for advanced memory products, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and market demands.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept through development, launch, and end-of-life, ensuring products meet market needs, financial targets, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Lead and collaborate with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure product success in the marketplace.
  • Engage with key customers and industry partners to gather insights, build relationships, and drive product adoption.
  • Develop and manage product budgets, pricing strategies, and financial forecasts to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in EE, CS, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of product management experience in the technology sector, with a proven track record in advanced memory, cloud computing, AI architectures, and related products.
  • Deep domain experience in DRAM product management and marketing.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
  • Deep understanding of the memory industry, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing product portfolios, lifecycle planning, and go-to-market strategies.
