We are seeking a highly qualified instructor to join our team at James Madison University. As a Lecturer, you will contribute to the general education program by teaching introductory geoscience courses.

About the Position:

  • This is a 10-month, promotable, full-time position starting August 2025.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to teach general education classes, including physical geology, Earth systems and climate change, oceanography, environmental science, and/or associated labs.
  • Secondary responsibilities include participating in service and scholarly activities related to student success.
