Lifespan Corporation seeks a skilled Medical Care Associate to join their team in Rhode Island, USA. As a vital member of the healthcare staff, you will work closely with registered nurses to deliver exceptional patient care and support.

Estimated salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working shift 3 at Rhode Island Hospital. The ideal candidate will have one year of experience as a nursing assistant and be certified in American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). A high school graduate or equivalent is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses to organize work and set priorities
  • Perform personal care skills, basic nursing assistant skills, rehabilitation skills, and maintenance of a safe environment
  • Recognize and report signs and symptoms to Registered Nurses
  • Maintain quality assurance and infection control in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Rhode Island license as a Nursing Assistant
  • Basic computer skills
  • The ability to lift/turn patients and equipment
