Executive Support Specialist

As an Executive Support Specialist at MedStar Health, you will provide high-level administrative support to the VP of Clinical Services/CNO and Senior Director of Nursing Practice and Operations. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence. You will also be responsible for managing travel expenses, organizing meetings, and maintaining policy/procedure manuals. If you have a strong background in secretarial science and excellent communication skills, this role may be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain calendars and appointment schedules for senior executives.
- Provide administrative support, including preparing correspondence, handling phone calls, and screening mail.
- Manage travel expenses, including recording expenses, preparing receipts, and submitting for approval.
- Organize and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and reserve conference rooms and equipment.
- Maintain and update policy/procedure manuals.
- Prepare payment vouchers for goods and services received by the department.
- Purchase and maintain supplies and inventory for the department.
- Associate's degree in Secretarial Science or equivalent experience.
- 3-4 years of progressively more responsible job-related experience providing support to a C-suite executive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
