Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist providers with patient care, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our patients.
  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Prepare patients for exams, reviewing health history and updating records as needed.
  • Set up procedure trays, instruments, and equipment according to instructions.
  • Document specimens, review pathology and lab results, and communicate with patients as directed.
  • Schedule surgical procedure appointments, phone prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Clean, sterilize, and inventory medical equipment, maintaining infection control policies.
  • Assist with office housekeeping duties, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a medical office, with dermatology experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and office financial policies.
