About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Addiction Recovery Specialist to join our team at River Edge Behavioral Health.

Job Summary:

The Addiction Recovery Specialist will provide support and guidance to consumers in a residential 24-hour supervised community-based program. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for helping others overcome addiction and achieve a healthier lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Basic Oversight/Care: Offer basic oversight and care to consumers in the residential program, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Implement Treatment Plans: Implement assigned portions of individualized treatment plans, working closely with consumers to achieve their goals.
  • Monitor Consumer Behavior: Observe and document consumer behavior, conducting regular room checks throughout the shift.
  • Medication Administration: Monitor self-administration of consumers' medication and collect urine drug screen samples and alcohol screens as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Any combination of training and experience that enables the applicant to have acquired necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities in direct patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Substance Use and Mental Health Experience: Previous experience in substance use and mental health fields is highly desirable.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
