Job Title: Night Auditor

As a Night Auditor at Caesars Entertainment, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits of financial transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process source documents in accordance with established procedures to ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue.
  • Generate and distribute various hotel system reports to support decision-making.
  • Assist in training and supervising staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties.
  • Notify management of any potential issues and assist with research and resolution of problems.
  • Familiarize yourself with all aspects of the Front Desk, including check-in and checkout procedures.
  • Oversee close day functions in the front office and ensure all rooms are checked in and payments are secured.
  • Maintain support documentation for established filing systems.
  • Ensure in-house casino comps have Trop Advantage numbers and notify management of discrepancies.
  • Assist guests and other departments during the audit shift as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use a computer keyboard, 10-key, and calculator.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
  • Ability to accurately review and audit relevant information.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with adding machine and computer input terminal.
  • Ability to solve mathematically oriented problems.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in Front Desk or related field, or completion of a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, or closely related field and one year of related experience.
  • Previous Hotel Front Office/Night Audit experience is strongly preferred.
  • Accounting background is helpful.
  • Clerical background is preferred.
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:
  • May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise.
  • Fast-paced, high-volume environment involving constant activity.
  • Must be able to stoop, reach, and bend as necessary.
