About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Line Team Member to join our manufacturing team at Schwan's Company. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about producing high-quality products.

Job Summary

This role involves performing various assembly and packaging tasks in the processing of foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for unpacking raw materials, mixing ingredients, assembling product, and packaging finished goods. You will also ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Unpack raw materials and mix ingredients according to recipes
  • Assemble and package finished goods
  • Count and inspect products for correct label, cleanliness, and quality
  • Ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards
  • Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems, and equipment breakdowns
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical activities, including lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, and other activities as needed
  • Ability to stand and walk on concrete for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in cold and/or hot temperatures for long periods of time
  • Ability to understand simple instructions, training materials, and product labeling
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently with hands, continuously reaching and performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions
  • Ability to work as a team and interact professionally with co-workers
