Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist III to join our team in the Catheterization Lab at St. Peter's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures for cardiac catheterization and interventions, including patient preparation, assisting physicians, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical procedures for cardiac catheterization and interventions, including patient preparation and assisting physicians.
  • Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and provide first assistant support as needed.
  • Accurately complete required documentation for procedures.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to critical patient parameters and immediate decision-making.
  • Provide 24-hour on-call service as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Technician, or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular technologist or technician role, with a focus on catheterization and interventional procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive, patient-centered work culture.
