NHS Restorative Nurse Specialist

At NHS Management Services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Restorative LPN Nurse to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
About the Role:

- You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents, promoting independence, and supporting their recovery journey.
- As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans that cater to each resident's specific needs.
- You will work closely with the Director of Nursing Services, licensed nursing personnel, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Confer with the Director of Nursing Services and/or licensed nursing personnel regarding restorative care of residents in the facility.
- Participate in MDS/RAI process and care planning of restorative care needs based on policies and procedures.
- Initiate requests for therapy/evaluation and serve as a liaison between therapy and nursing departments.
- Evaluate residents and their records or charts, recognizing normal and abnormal findings to determine when to refer them to a physician.
- Implement and maintain established policies and procedures relative to restorative care, interpreting them for physicians, residents, and family members.
Requirements:
- Must be a Licensed Nurse in good standing and meet all applicable Federal and State requirements.
- Must demonstrate basic nursing skills and knowledge necessary to care for the elderly and disabled.
- Must demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills.
- Must possess patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards the elderly and disabled.
Compensation and Benefits:
- We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
