Job Title: Optometrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team at Prairie Band, LLC. As an Optometrist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat visual and ocular problems through external and internal physical examinations of the eye and adnexa.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and vision training, as well as pharmacological means to treat visual disorders.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures, including anterior segment foreign body removal, corneal debridement, and suture removal.
  • Utilize laboratory and radiology services to evaluate ophthalmic conditions.
  • Provide emergency care services on an outpatient setting.
  • Perform mandated examinations, such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma screenings.
  • Coordinate medical eye care with other physicians as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Active unrestricted license to practice in any state of the United States.
  • Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited education program.
  • Basic Life Saver certificate.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Work Schedule:

Full-time shift schedule: 8-hour shifts with a half-hour non-paid lunch break. Does not include weekends and holidays.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
