Dialysis Technician Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dialysis Technician Specialist to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. In this role, you will work closely with our healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care and support.

The estimated salary for this position is $62,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package includes competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Job
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing education to patients and families about dialysis therapy, as well as assisting with the setup and operation of dialysis machines.

Responsibilities
* Provide patient education regarding dialysis therapy and vascular access
* Assist with the setup and operation of dialysis machines
* Monitor patients' response to dialysis therapy and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or supervisor
* Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and contribute to the development of quality improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Requirements
* High school diploma or G.E.D. required
* Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
* Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred
