Job Description
---------------
As an Automotive Service Lead, you will be responsible for setting the highest standards of excellence and embodying our core values to support the operations in the service department of your store. This will involve creating a highly motivated team climate and working closely with the Service Team to improve their performance through hands-on presence in the store. You will also be responsible for efficiently developing team members, executing store processes, and ensuring that we continue to provide an industry-leading customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Directly work with customers in areas of sales, service, customer opportunities, adjustments, etc.
* Create a highly motivated team environment/climate
* Supervise technicians and service personnel, plan and schedule their duties, assign work, and follow up on completion of assignments
* Coach service department teammates on all operational issues
* Work directly with customers in areas of sales, service, customer opportunities, adjustments, etc.
* Evaluate the performance and productivity of all service department personnel
* Manage parts inventory and outside purchases, as well as update and restock all in-house parts when needed
* Ensure store safety, including the use of and maintenance of safety equipment
* Ensure equipment/hardware layout and positioning within the service department
* Supervise the shop area, equipment, and teammates for compliance with company safety procedures
* Ensure that proper inspections are being conducted

Qualifications
------------
We are seeking a candidate with outstanding leadership and store management skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to mentor others in a manner that ensures efficiency. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Service Advisor/Writer role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be in the range of $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Brakes Plus offers a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, employer-paid short- and long-term disability insurance, paid time off (vacation/personal), paid bereavement, and paid holidays.
