Medical Assistant Per Diem Opportunity in Convenient Care Berwick

"> We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Convenient Care Berwick. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide direct patient care and clinical support for physicians and other providers in the outpatient setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
"> • Prepare patients for visits with providers
"> • Collect and review pertinent information, perform technical duties, and document using the electronic medical record
"> • Support a safe environment for patients and follow infection prevention protocols
"> • Provide administrative and clerical support, including patient scheduling, filing reports, and following up on documentation, phone calls, and billing inquiries
Requirements:
"> • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
"> • Graduate from Specialty Training Program preferred
"> • Minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred
"> • Basic Life Support Certification within 6 months, Certified Medical Assistant required
