About the Role

Health First is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain patient safety at all times, ensuring compliance with established precautions and documenting any changes in status.
  • Evaluate patients thoroughly and document evaluations according to relevant guidelines, standards, and policies.
  • Complete progress notes and reassessments as required, adhering to applicable guidelines, standards, and policies.
  • Provide effective treatments that promote patient progress toward their goals, documenting treatments accordingly.
  • Attend scheduled department meetings, reviewing and signing meeting minutes when necessary, and participate in in-services given by other staff and students.
Customer Experience Focus
  • Respond promptly to therapy referrals and inquiries upon receipt.
  • Collaborate with the team to review daily assignments and schedules.
  • Offer education to patients, families, and staff regarding therapy services tailored to individual needs.
Financial Responsibility
  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by meeting patient scheduling requirements, ensuring productivity targets are met, and utilizing time, supplies, and support staff efficiently.
  • Prepare and review schedules for the next day.
  • Accurately issue charges corresponding to provided services and documented treatment times.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
