As an Independent Contractor, you will serve the Sacramento area, providing premier occupational therapy services to adults of all ages. This role involves assessing and evaluating patient care needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing interventions to enhance patients' wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing services defined by state laws governing occupational therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Leading patients in therapeutic activities to improve functionality and safety.
  • Observing, recording, and reporting patients' responses to treatment and changes in their condition.
  • Instructing patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team on areas where they can participate in assisting patients.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong ability and enthusiasm for working with individuals of all ages.
  • An Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state.
  • Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
