Clinical Specialist, Pain Interventions

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Neuromodulation Pain and Target Drug Delivery Therapies in the areas of surgical coverage, follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education.
Key Responsibilities- Represent Medtronic as a device specialist during surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and products are available, providing technical support, and performing programming and testing of all device systems.
- Educate and manage patients through all phases of the clinical process, including pre and post-implantation.
- Train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on products and therapies, including coordinating one-on-one teaching sessions, formal in-services, education programs, seminars, and outside symposia.
- Respond promptly and professionally to device-related inquiries from customers and patients.
- Manage inventory within specified guidelines and contribute to the achievement of quarterly goals associated with specific initiatives at the district, regional, and national levels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with office staff and healthcare providers, and assist in new employee training within the district and mentor Associate Clinical Specialists.
- A High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience, or an Associate's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience, or a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience.
- Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with little direction, and to attend national meetings, district meetings, and other training as requested.
- Ability to wear a 7-9 lb protective lead apron for extended periods of time in the operating room, and to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day, and to bend, stoop, squat, and balance frequently.
