Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Specialist to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit at Christus Health.

This role involves providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive work environment.

About the Role
  • Provide direct patient care services, including vital sign monitoring and basic life support as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination.
RequirementsEducation and Certification

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a nursing assistant program within one year is preferred. BLS certification is mandatory, while specialty certifications may be required based on unit needs.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Perform duties with attention to detail, efficiency, and safety, adhering to hospital regulations and guidelines.
Work Environment

This position requires working irregular hours, handling multiple simultaneous tasks, and exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $48,000-$60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
