We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Richmond, VA.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System in the capital city of Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered nursing care and participate in patient and family education.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions using computerized documentation systems.
  • Coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
  • Maintain cultural and diversity awareness when interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification.
  • 1 year of medical surgical experience in an acute care hospital setting REQUIRED.
