Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Southwest Womens Care PC. This is a full-time position that requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Summary
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for performing all tasks related to time keeping software, including verifying time cards, communicating errors to staff and managers, and providing required reports and data to the payroll team. This role will also assist managers with time card and time off issues, adjust employee schedules in time keeping software, and enter new employees and terminate terminating employees in the system.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Payroll Administrator will assist the HR Team as needed with resume processes, scanning, and other tasks approved by the Executive Practice Manager. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with ADP Payroll and possess excellent communication, human relations, and analytical/problem solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Time and Attendance
- Add new employees to time keeping systems, including demographics, emergency information, certifications, and licenses.
- Attach appropriate supervisors, departments, pay codes, and absence codes.
- Attach normal 8-5 schedules unless given another schedule.
- Add employees to company phone lists.
- Payroll
- Verify all time cards individually.
- Notify managers and employees of errors.
- Run hours reports from time keeping system for payroll entry.
- Work time keeping report to ensure accurate entry in payroll system.
- Run closing reports and close pay period in time keeping software.
- Compare and verify PTO in both time keeping and payroll systems after each payroll.
- Employee Record Maintenance – Time Keeping Systems
- Enter changes to employee demographics in time keeping system.
- Enter changes to PTO policy and adjustments in time keeping system.
- Create new schedules in time keeping system and ensure all policies are attached correctly.
- Create new pay policies, absence policies, and codes, accrual policies, and codes as they occur.
- Enter property assigned to employees in time keeping system.
- PTO/CME Reconciliations
- Perform reconciliations as requested.
- Assist HR Team
- Assist HR Team with HR-related tasks as deemed appropriate by the Executive Practice Manager.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience with ADP Payroll.
- Excellent communication, human relations, and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive issues.
- Work under minimal supervision and make independent decisions using good judgment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Multitasking abilities.
- Ability to perform efficiently with analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Adherence to important deadlines.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
