Hawaii Senior Caregiver Opportunities

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu in Kaneohe, Honolulu, Hawaii. About the Role:As a Nurse Assistant (NA) or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in helping our elderly clients maintain their overall well-being and perform daily living activities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and ensuring clients take their medication. Additionally, you will provide companionship and emotional support while closely monitoring and promptly reporting any changes in the clients' health or behavior.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and providing medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Closely monitor and promptly report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure effective care plans
- Provide transportation to appointments, events, and errands as required
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a current CNA or NA certification in the state of Hawaii. Previous experience working with seniors is preferred but not required. You must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver's license, and pass a background check and drug test.
Benefits:We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $18 to $25, with convenient weekly pay. Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate your availability.
