EMT Instructional Specialist

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

• Curriculum Development: Create and implement comprehensive educational curricula for EMT Basic and EMT Advanced courses.
• Instructing: Lead classes of students through successful EMT training programs, approximately 12 weeks long.
• Teaching Techniques: Employ effective teaching methods, fostering a welcoming learning environment and equipping students with essential skills.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and document learning outcomes.

• Paramedic Certification: Possess current Paramedic certification or be willing to obtain it rapidly.
• Licensure: Hold licensure by BEMPS or be willing to obtain it promptly.
• Experience: Possess actual experience as an EMT Advanced or Paramedic level.
• Teaching and Classroom Principles: Demonstrate understanding of teaching and classroom principles, including best practices in education and classroom management.
• Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
