About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Informatics Analyst II-Clinical Informatics to join our team at The MetroHealth System. This individual will play a vital role in enhancing existing clinical systems and implementing new ones, ensuring seamless integration with clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate clinical workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement and design technical solutions that optimize system usability and promote Meaningful Use.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical and technical disciplines, fostering collaboration and communication to drive project success.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance existing clinical systems and implement new ones, adhering to regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and uphold the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • At least 3 years of clinical and/or operational experience, with 2 years of experience working with clinical computer systems.
  • Knowledge of clinical best practices, operations, policies, procedures, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as presentation and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to translate workflows and practice standards into an electronic environment, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to work in assigned areas and other locations based on operational or training needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the State of Ohio.
  • Registered Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) in Informatics Nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • Previous experience with clinical informatics systems, knowledge of industry best practices regarding clinical informatics processes, workflow analyses, and system designs, and experience using Epic or another Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Physical Requirements
  • Moderate physical activity, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating intermittently during the day.
  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required, and ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
