Job Description:
The Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Care for patients undergoing cancer treatment, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, addressing concerns and providing emotional support
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- A valid RN license in the state of Kansas
- At least one year of experience in oncology nursing or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
