At Tenet-AZ Region, we're seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our Orthopedic Department in Tucson, Arizona.

About the Role
  • We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will provide direct clinical patient care and assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients. They will also supervise staff and support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high-quality nursing care and competency of clinical staff.

Responsibilities
  1. Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  2. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  3. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  4. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Requirements
  • A valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are preferred.
