Job Overview:

As an Armed Driver Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of valuable assets. This position requires individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive automatic armored vehicles on designated routes, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Service ATMs and Smart Safes, handling cash and other valuables with precision.
  • Deliver customer change orders and collect deposits, maintaining accurate records throughout the process.
  • Unload vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins, and count items for verification.
  • Record and sign for cargo items, ensuring their secure transportation.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and a minimum of 3 years' driving experience.
  • The ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate via US Department of Transportation approved medical examiners.
  • A valid firearms permit or the ability to pass applicable firearms requirements may be necessary.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time schedule with occasional weekend work, potentially up to 50 hours per week.
  • Approximately 90-95% of work performed in air-conditioned vehicles within individual compartments.

Physical Demands:

  • Lift: 25lbs from 10 inches to 66 inches from the floor (1X).
  • Lift-Carry: 18lbs from 1 inch to 44 inches from the floor, and horizontally transfer 15ft (4X).
  • Push-Pull: Horizontally transfer 47lbs of force on a sled (single, non-dominant arm), a distance of 1ft (2X).
  • Repetitive Coupling: Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30lbs / both right & left hands (4X).
  • Climb: Ascend / Descend a step with heights of 16, 21 & 24 inches from the floor (10X).

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
