We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Industry Partnership Growth Manager to join our team at Black Pen Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level in the field of financial partnerships and growth.
About Our ClientOur client is the largest and first licensed on/off-ramp platform for stablecoins in Africa, dedicated to offering innovative solutions in the African stablecoins space. They strive to make stablecoins accessible and understandable for everyone, providing customers with secure and user-friendly platforms for their financial transactions.
Job SummaryThis role involves driving new business revenues from financial institutions and affinity markets by identifying and building product offerings that meet the needs of clients and their customers. You will also be responsible for managing the sales team and ensuring the success of existing partners.
Responsibilities- Identify target clients and segments for our client's platform and develop strategies to acquire new business and partners.
- Negotiate business terms and contracts with strategic technology partners, coordinating with administration, marketing, and legal stakeholders as needed.
- Drive new business revenues from financial institutions and new affinity markets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Manage the sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets and goals.
- Conduct regular reviews with senior leadership to present and promote partnerships, ensuring resource allocation meets partner success requirements.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree and +5 years of experience in business development or head of sales roles.
- Experience in full-cycle B2B sales processes, including onboarding and integration, and partnership management on live accounts.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
- A strong ability to close deals and influence broadly across the organization.
- Thorough understanding of the FinTech/Stablecoin space.
- Detailed knowledge of B2B discipline, outgoing client manager professional, solid B2B Sales experience, and third-party distribution channel management.
- Ability to partner with the product team to migrate use and drive adoption of API features.
- Ensure existing and emerging Selling Partner solutions comply with company acceptable use policies, security standards, and best practices.
- Act as a technical liaison in B2B, service engineering teams, and business teams.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
