Mobile Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel position in Tacoma, Washington. This is a 13-week contract with a guarantee of 40 hours per week.
About the JobThis is a unique opportunity to work with patients and medical staff in a dynamic environment. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing radiopharmaceutical agents and administering them to patients prior to using a scanner or camera to capture images.
Responsibilities- Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients.
- Position and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
- Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
- Perform procedures under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
- Provide assistance to patients during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT.
- State-specific licensing when required.
