Certified Surgical Tech

At Northfield Hospital & Clinics, we're seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Tech to join our Surgery team. As a key member of our team, you'll work in a supportive, caring, and highly skilled environment, providing optimal patient-centered care in the operating room.
The Certified Surgical Tech applies principles of asepsis in a knowledgeable manner, ensuring quality care and improved patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include organizing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for each surgical procedure, providing a sterile field, and assisting in the maintenance of the sterile field.
As a Certified Surgical Tech, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases in a newer facility, utilizing sterilization techniques and AORN standards. You'll also be responsible for anticipating the needs of the surgeon, passing instruments, and providing sterile items in an efficient manner.
We're looking for a team player with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. If you have CST experience or are graduating soon from a Surgical Tech program, we encourage you to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited OR Technician program
- One year of Surgical Tech experience preferred
- Certification by the Surgical Technologist Association
- Current BLS or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire, company paid
- Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills
Benefits:
- Competitive wages: $31.81-$44.90 per hour (experience and education may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended)
- Shift differential pay: evenings: $0.80; nights: $1.05
