Customer Service Specialist

Join Prism Health Care Services as a Customer Service Specialist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing timely transitions of care, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting company programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer requests courteously and with respect
  • Promote company program and services to assigned referral sources
  • Support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the organization
  • Accurately and efficiently handle all sales transactions
  • Maintain a clean retail environment and stock levels
  • Perform tasks related to patient discharge and equipment fitting
  • Work with Quality Assurance to ensure details of referrals are complete and accurate
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with referral sources
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and making recommendations

Requirements:

  • DME customer service experience preferred
  • Proven performance record in customer service
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and accrediting body regulations
  • Demonstrates ability to work successfully with internal and external contacts
  • Strong collaborative and demonstration skills in facilitating teamwork
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently
  • Clear understanding of Fort Medical and Prism Health Care Services, Inc. departments and revenue cycle positions
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, problem-solving, investigational, and analytical skills
