About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our Academic team at EBSCO Information Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our products to academic institutions, corporate libraries, and medical libraries in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all product lines and categories, including Full Text Databases on EBSCOhost and Software as a Service Solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve established sales growth and renewal quotas.
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales, Director of ACM Sales, and Account Executive to drive sales growth and retention.
  • Provide formal pricing proposals, literature, and coordinate trials as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations driven by the solution sales process.
  • Achieve an expert level of knowledge of EBSCO products and competition.
  • Provide input for product development and marketing purposes.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of sales experience selling in the academic field.
  • Experience with SaaS and information service sales a plus.
  • Previous travel experience and ability to travel 70%.
  • Must live within the territory: Salt Lake City, UT (and surrounding area) or Greater Phoenix, AZ (and surrounding area).
  • Must have proven communication, follow-up, and sales skills.
