Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Professional to join our team as a Customer Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, resolving complex hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, or in-person, responding to user queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve root causes.
  • Assist with password resets, account unlocks, and other authentication-related tasks.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, imaging laptops as needed.
  • Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate record-keeping and knowledge base development.
  • Educate users on basic IT processes and tools, promoting self-sufficiency and empowering them to perform routine tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  • Strong understanding of Windows (10, 11) and macOS operating systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow or JIRA, and ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with remote support tools, such as Beyond Trust, and ability to provide support via phone, email, or chat.
  • Familiarity with network connectivity issues, VPN, and wireless connectivity.
  • Knowledge of backup solutions for Windows and Mac, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory and directory services.
