Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care for acute and chronic neurological diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
  • Lead an interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of ethics and morality.
  • Oversee and direct the Neurology Residency Program at Garnet Health, adhering to ACGME, CMS, and other relevant oversight body requirements.

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience.
  • Prior leadership experience is preferred.
  • NY State Medical License and Board Certification are required.
  • ACLS certification is required within 30 days of employment.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine and Neurology is required.
  • NY State DEA and Infection Control Certificate are also required.
