We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Waterford Operations LLC in Medford, OR.

About the Role

This is a full-time and part-time opportunity to work as a Certified Medication Aide. You will be responsible for administering medications to residents under the direction of the attending physician.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents accurately and safely according to established nursing standards, policies, and local procedures.
  • Prepare, administer, and document oral and/or topical medications ordered for residents.
  • Complete necessary forms, charts, and reports in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all medications administered are properly labeled, returned, and reordered.
  • Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A licensed Certified Medication Aide in the state of Oregon.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of common medical abbreviations, symbols, and terms for medication administration.
  • Ability to accurately measure, record, and report vital signs.
