Job Description

The Financial Reporting Lead will be responsible for overseeing accounting department processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This role will manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process for both corporate office and plant locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights on performance and cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Monitor budget variances and report on financial performance
  • Evaluate and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Support internal and external financial reviews and audits
  • Provide financial insights to support management decision-making
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably JDE
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
Compensation

$100,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
