About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Physician/Hospitalist to join our team on a locum tenens basis. As a Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a level II trauma center with adult and pediatric services. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
The estimated salary for this position is $**200,000 - $250,000 per year**, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, 12-hour shift environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Licenses to practice medicine in the state of Indiana
- Board certification in internal medicine or a related specialty
- At least 3 years of experience as a hospitalist or physician in a similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pacific Companies, Inc. operates a 425-bed level II trauma center with adult and pediatric services. Our hospital features a 7-bed trauma ICU and a 25-bed ICU, staffed by 24/7 intensivists. We offer a wide range of specialized services, including cardiology, oncology, and neurology.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals, including 26 other hospitalists and a skilled support staff. You will also have access to state-of-the-art technology and equipment, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
