Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and loading of internal and external work orders. This role involves routing materials to their required destinations, verifying material counts and specifications, and preparing and packaging materials for internal and external routing.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify material count and specification
Prepare and package material for internal/external routing
Route products to departments
Attach identifying information and delivery instructions on containers
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
Complete deliveries by driving forklift to and from final destination
Report and inspect warehouse forklift equipment
Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests
Maintain quality service by following organization standards

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
2 years previous warehouse experience or order picking; preferably in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional manufacturing warehouse environment. The employee will be exposed to loud noises, oil/dirt, and forklift traffic. Additionally, this position will require some use of various hand, pneumatic air, and battery-operated torque tools.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of their job, the employee frequently is required to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb, squat, kneel, reach, verbally communicate, hear, and have peripheral vision. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Typical shift hours of operations are 1st shift 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2nd shift 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Daily and weekend overtime may be required, as needed. Flexibility to rotate shifts, as determined due to business need and management discretion.
