About the Role

As a key member of our sales team at US0003 Sysco Jacksonville, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and market expansion through strategic business development.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new opportunities within the independent business sector, leveraging advanced analytics and industry insights to inform your approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with regional sales leaders to develop comprehensive business development strategies that align with company goals.
  • Market Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics to prioritize opportunities and develop targeted business development plans that drive growth.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain relationships with brokers, distributors, and foodservice industry peers to expand our network and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Sales Execution: Create and execute effective sales plans to capitalize on identified opportunities and secure key accounts.
  • Performance Evaluation: Review sales objectives and results, prepare action plans for improvement, and stay current with market and foodservice industry trends.
Requirements
  • Education/Experience: Minimum: High School diploma or GED, 3+ years' sales experience, and 2+ years' new business development experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • Skills: Solid analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analyzing reports and deriving insights from data. Strong financial acumen and ability to plan and execute business plans. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to influence key stakeholders.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
