**Job Summary:**

The US District Court is seeking a highly skilled Senior Court Operations Specialist to support the District Court Executive/Clerk of Court and the Chief Deputy Clerk in the Phoenix Divisional Office.

**About the Job:

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

As a key member of our team, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the court. This includes coordinating conferences and meetings, preparing frequent confidential or highly complex communication for senior staff, and maintaining their calendars.

You will also be responsible for coordinating judicial investiture ceremonies and other official events, scheduling visiting judges, and responding to inquiries from judges, court staff, and the public.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate conferences and meetings, including arranging for meeting space, transportation, meals, and security
  • Prepare frequent confidential or highly complex communication for senior staff
  • Maintain senior staff calendars, arrange meetings or other events, and notify participants
  • Arrange travel and lodging, and prepare travel payment vouchers
  • Coordinate judicial investiture ceremonies and other official events
  • Schedule visiting judges and coordinate courtroom assignments
  • Respond to inquiries from judges, court staff, and the public

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a judicial setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
