Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist will provide high-quality imaging services to patients in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MRI procedures and be able to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MRI and MRA imaging procedures
Maintain patient safety protocols
Participate in preventative maintenance and quality improvement activities
Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
MR Registry required or eligible with registry being obtained within 120 days of hire
One year of MRI experience under a Board Certified Radiologist preferred

Working Conditions:

The MRI Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate exposure to hazardous risks and contaminants. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Accountability:

The MRI Technologist will report to the MRI Manager or Administrative Director of Imaging. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
