Rogers Behavioral Health, a leading behavioral health system with over 100 years of experience, is seeking an exceptional Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Specialist to join our team in Wisconsin. With a strong commitment to delivering top-quality psychiatric services, we offer a comprehensive range of treatment options, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key member of our patient care model, collaborating with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to provide high-quality care to children and adolescents. As a leader in the field, this individual will have the opportunity to work across various levels of care, both in-person and virtually, and contribute to protocol development, quality assurance, and peer review evaluations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans for children and adolescents
  • Conduct medication management sessions, history and physical exams, and create discharge plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, social workers, and therapists, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff education
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhere to regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Licensed MD or DO with specialization in psychiatry and board certification
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university and medical school, with completion of a GME-accredited residency and/or fellowship program in child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Previous experience working as a psychiatrist in a licensed hospital setting, with leadership and supervisory experience in a behavioral health organization preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
