Senior Construction Materials Testing Engineer

United Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Testing Engineer Professional to join our team.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in construction materials testing and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field and will be responsible for performing a variety of construction materials testing and monitoring tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct onsite visits and site reconnaissance to identify potential testing areas
- Check foundations and perform soil, concrete, and asphalt sample pick-ups
- Perform density tests, mold concrete test cylinders, and conduct concrete and asphalt coring
- Write detailed reports and monitor grading operations
- Inspect asphalt batch plants and monitor asphalt placement and in-place density tests
- Perform visual weld inspections and bolt torque tests
- Train other personnel and perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- BS in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field
- OSHA certification preferred
- Experience in construction or engineering preferred
