We are seeking a qualified Special Education Educator LBS1 Middle School to join our team at Evanston/Skokie School District 65.
Job Summary:The Special Education Educator LBS1 Middle School will be responsible for providing educational services to students with special needs in a middle school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education and be able to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Provide instruction and support to students in a middle school setting
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive education for students
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure a collaborative approach to student education
- Bachelor's degree in special education or related field
- Illinois Professional Educator License
- LBSI endorsement required
- Bilingual in Spanish or Native Spanish Speaking encouraged - $5,000 additional stipend
