At ProCare Therapy, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Education Facilitator to support visually impaired students in California. This remote position involves delivering personalized instruction and collaborating with educators and families to ensure student success.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or Special Education with a focus on visual impairments and certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, with eligibility to work in California.

Responsibilities
  • Provide virtual instruction and support to students who are visually impaired in a school setting, focusing on the needs of students in California.
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans and accommodations to meet students' needs.
  • Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to support students' learning goals.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' success.
  • Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to monitor students' progress.
  • Provide training and support to students, teachers, and caregivers on strategies for supporting students with visual impairments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or Special Education with a focus on visual impairments.
  • Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, with eligibility to work in California.
  • Experience working with students who are visually impaired in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and resources for students with visual impairments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
