About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Fab Shop Carpenter to join our team at TP Mechanical Contractors. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, metal studs, plywood, and wallboard. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, metal studs, plywood, and wallboard
• Assist with all work on a job site, including lifting, carrying, sorting, loading, unloading of material, and cleaning of job areas
• Create a positive work environment that helps maintain a sufficient and qualified workforce
• Operate under specific supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Minimum 1-year prior construction or plumbing experience preferred
• Stable work history
• Able to use basic tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)
• Honest, reliable, dependable, and display good character
• High School or GED Equivalent
• Eyesight correctable to 20/50
• Able to stand for long hours
• Lift items weighing up to 80 lbs.
• Must not be afraid of heights
• Must provide their own basic hand tools

Estimated Salary: $62,000 - $82,000 per year
