Water Treatment Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Operations Specialist to join our team at Veolia North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art water treatment plant in Williamston, NC.

Responsibilities- Operate and maintain equipment, instruments, and processes to ensure optimal water quality and plant efficiency.
- Perform field tests and analyze data to diagnose problems and optimize process control.
- Monitor and report on plant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare chemical solutions and monitor supplies to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Collect and analyze water and solids samples to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and improve plant performance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (science, engineering, or business) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in water treatment operations, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
