Job Summary

Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for administering athletic training services in a community or clinic setting under the supervision of a supervising physician.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate musculoskeletal injuries and develop treatment and exercise plans within the scope of practice of athletic training.
  • Implement individualized therapeutic interventions and monitor responses to therapy to ensure client safety.
  • Provide education to clients, families, and coaches regarding injuries, risk factor modification, and exercise programs.
  • Assist providers with clinical examinations, including obtaining medical history and vitals, preparing injections, and taking necessary measurements.

Requirements

  • Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a clinical or community setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
